Although the process was simple online, the sticker shock might get you at first, but remember it's vacation time. We booked a hotel right on the waterfront called "The Edgewater". Pictures looked great online, but there were some issues when we got there. First, you have to check in at the dress shop next door, problem they were closed with a sign that says "Be Right Back" I had to call there emergency line to get someone to answer a phone, I think this person was on the mainland, we were advised the receptionist was at the Post Office. 1/2 hour later the young lady had a multitude of reasons why she was not there, which I won't bore you with. We finally got checked into a "micro room (my words), and equally small bathroom. I could not walk in and close the door, had to turn sideways. The kicker, is they only ask $330 for the night. There are many many hotels on this island do some research, and read yelp reviews. When we checked out (wrong term, there was nobody to check out with, the sign on the door at the dress shop said "Gone to Lunch", It was 0800!
