Reise Hjerstedt (Great Grandson) Goes on his first RV Camping Trip to KQ Ranch in Julian

Saturday morning and we headed to the wolf experience.
They bring some live wolves to the Ranch and give history of the wolves in the area. They are very tame and bring them into the crowd to greet and pet.
We met the neighbors next door.
They invited us over for a crawfish tabletop style boil. The gentleman was an Army Civil Service Veteran, and he explained he built the trap, threw it in at night picked up next day and caught 130 crawdads!

Mavrick goes fishing!
KQ Ranch has a small lake that frankly, never really produced any (none) for me. Maverick and Brayden had some luck in the past, but never landed any due to a very aggressive duck. Well Maverick ended his dry spell with this catch. Now once again Papa didn't have his phone (they are going to tie it to me going forward) so a nice young lady took this pic for us and emailed it. Another thing that happened while at the lake was Maverick coaching a crawdad out of the lake with some bait on his fishing pole. The nice lady with the camera was on the other side of the lake. All in all a Great! day with my Great Grandson.
Overall Reise and Maverick had a great time!
He played hard with the cars he brought, and didn't need any of our help to be entertained.
All this playing and the things to do at KQ caused early naps! He really enjoyed his first coach trip and so did his nanee and papa.
